RagTag Elite

RagTag Elite was born of the remnants of a band known as Sally and the Blue Streaks. Founded by Jo and Sally, RagTag Elite strives to entertain, excite, and evolve. With musical influences that range from rock to punk, folk to blues, jazz to funk and everything in between, our sound is eclectic and flexible, new yet familiar.

Adopted aunt to Jo and Sally, Mariah never heard the song she inspired, "Red Hot Sally". She never even knew there was a song...or a band for that matter.

She lived her life without restrictions - sadly, she did not outlive our predictions. She was taken far too soon, without warning or explanation. We could all stand to learn a lot from a woman like Mariah.

We hope she's proud of us and has our names on her guestlist.

a contradiction in terms designed to mock the stratification of classes. We're all people, people.

Our sound is as unique as we are. We have roots in folk and rock-n-roll, opera and jazz. We aim for the rock-n-roll side of life, but we're not afraid to dive into some blues or jazz if the mood arrises. So try to keep an open-mind. We ask that you not try to label us as a particular sound.

After all...who really likes labels anyway?
